Bold and Boundless: 2017 Year End Review

As 2017 comes to a close I wanted to spend a moment to look back at the year that passed (so fast!), both to see how far we’ve come, but also to see where we want to be going in 2018.

This year saw continued strong growth for Boundless, and we’re on the verge of realizing our 13th consecutive growth year in a row!  That is an accomplishment that most companies never even come close to, and one we should all be proud of.

We also saw lots of changes in the promotional products industry as a whole.  Promotional products as an advertising medium are showing no signs of slowing down, in fact, in the digital age promos are becoming an increasingly valuable tool to break through the digital noise.  More and more companies are realizing the power of promotions and we’re seeing creativity in branded merchandise reach new heights.  This is also attracting some newcomers to our industry and in 2017 we saw some retail giants enter our space. It’s too early to tell how big of an impact they will have, but the industry as a whole is watching intently.

Internally here at Boundless, 2017 has been a very special year for our company as well.  We outgrew our home on 6th street and moved to a larger office just on the outskirts of downtown. We added 12 corporate members and more than 20 sales affiliates to our team!  We continue to care about the communities in which we operate, and expanded our Boundless Cares program to include a diversity committee!  And on the technology side of things, we continued investing in our platform and have made some awesome improvements in technology that continue to provide value to clients and our corporate teams.

As for accolades, this year was one for the books.  We were thrilled that our very own Theresa Roberts was recognized by ASI as the Distributor Salesperson of the Year.  Theresa has been with us for almost 10 years and we’ve been so proud to have her on our team and to watch her grow.  As a company, Boundless rose 3 spots to #16 on Promo Marketing’s Top Distributor list and we were also named one of the best places to work by PPAI!  Building a company where people can not only make a livelihood but also feel happy going to work is really important.  So it meant a lot for Boundless to be recognized in this way.

Finally, I personally was humbled and honored to be chosen as Counselor’s Person of the Year as a leading innovator in our space, and to also climb up the Counselor Power 50 list.  All these awards are really team awards, as our success is a function of all the hard and smart work by everyone in our company.

So in closing, I am excited for all the progress to date, but even more excited about what is ahead. We are really well positioned to be a leader in our industry and to win more and more clients by servicing them with our unique blend of people and platform.

I wish you all a wonderful holiday season and hope that all of you can take some time off to be with friends and family.  It’s important to recharge your batteries because 2018 is going to be even more awesome! #BeBoundless
