AHA creative story

American Heart Association’s (AHA) Jump Rope for Heart raises funds in over 20,000 schools every year. AHA partnered with Boundless to create Brand Love and reinvent the program using technology, custom incentives, and toys. Boundless also streamlined operations, and reduced costs through overseas manufacturing.

The 2017 program included augmented reality temporary tattoos, with a custom line of monster figurines who came to life on the screen once the fundraising app had been downloaded and the tattoo was scanned.

As a result, app downloads were up more than 500% from the prior year. In addition, top fundraisers were able to design their own monster online, which was then 3D printed on-demand, providing a truly one-of-a-kind collectible item.
