TL;DR: The chicken wing gurus at Wingstop offer managers and employees a Wing You training program to set up each store for success. Boundless teamed up with Wingstop to develop two completion kits after successful training sessions: one for the employee and one for the hard-working trainers. These gift sets create Brand Love between corporate and staff across the country.

overview

With more than 1,500 restaurants worldwide, Wingstop is one of the fastest-growing franchises in the U.S. today. Since 1994, the chicken wing brand has served fresh, Buffalo-style wings that don’t compromise on flavor.

strategy & goals

It takes a lot of work to run a chicken wing empire. That’s why Wingstop offers the Wing You training program to all of its store managers and employees. Wingstop’s team of dedicated trainers conducts the Wing You training around the globe, coaching employees about the Wingstop mission.

While the training itself is a valuable way to invest in its team, Wingstop wanted to show its appreciation for the trainers, employees, and managers who go the extra mile. That’s why Wingstop tapped Boundless Brand Consultant, Brad Blankenship with LOGOLINK, to devise a simple but effective appreciation gift for Wing You graduates and trainers.

results

We collaborated with Wingstop to create two separate Wing You Training Completion Kits. Wingstop delivered these kits to employees at their Wingstop location to thank everyone for their hard work. The employee kits included drawstring cinch bags and touch tools as a token of appreciation from Wingstop corporate. Wingstop also celebrated its hard-working trainers, who received a branded backpack, sweatshirt blanket, and tumbler.

conclusion

Training is a critical way to engage with employees, but Wingstop still wanted to show its appreciation in a way that would incentivize more of its team to complete Wing You. These gift sets fostered a closer relationship between Wingstop corporate and the hardworking staff that keep the brand running.
