Boundless Network Acquires Minneapolis Promotional Products Distributor GWS
AUSTIN, Texas, May 6, 2007 — Boundless Network, a leader in professionalizing the promotional products industry, today announced the acquisition of Minneapolis-based GWS, Inc.. The deal will enable Boundless Network to leverage its patented technology platform and GWS’ talented sales force to significantly expand sales in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area.

Max Fink started GWS in 1931 during the Great Depression. Over the next 75 years the company became one of the few continuously family owned and operated promotional products companies in the US. In 1979, Mike Fink joined his grandfather’s company and as owner has grown the company five-fold from a business that made less than $1.5 million annually to an operation that boasted revenue of more than $7 million.

GWS represents a key part of Boundless Network’s acquisition strategy of identifying top promotional products distributors with revenues between $2 million and $10 million. In 2008, the company’s expansion plans focus on continuing to seek out distributors that fit the profile nationwide.
Boundless Network has 12 regional offices located coast-to-coast across the US, as well as a sales presence in five additional locations. The company has recruited 71 leading sales professionals to join the company and plans to continue attracting sales professionals in key regions throughout the country. In addition to sales professionals, Boundless Network currently has 65 employees and expects to add 35 Austin-based employees over the next 24 months.
