The New Economy

Last week I sent an e-mail to top professionals in our industry about the looming recession and its effects on the promotional products world. I invited them to join me in a conversation about what I call the “New Economy.”

Not surprisingly, the response has been overwhelming. Hundreds of folks have already signed up to be a part of this timely discussion.

As you know, I have been ranting about the recessive economy on my blog for over a year now, and unfortunately “it” has finally hit the fan. Boundless Network has a passion and a reputation for being a thought leader in our industry. Originally, our goal was to help Boundless professionals learn the techniques and strategies necessary to retain their customers and manage their business during the economic downturn. But in doing so, we realized that there are thousands of promotional products professionals who could benefit from our discussions—thus, “The New Economy” was born.

Everyone in the promotional products industry is being impacted directly and indirectly by this New Economy, but I feel that by combining our brain power we are going to discover ways to help survive and win despite the rocky circumstances.

What is the New Economy discussion?

  • An informational weekly e-mail with tips and best practices on how to safeguard your business during these uncertain economic times.
  • Access to a website that is a community discussion forum for sharing your own experiences and advice with fellow industry professionals. This site will be full of videos, articles and other great resources.
  • An invitation to a live New Economy Roundtable discussion at the PPAI show in Las Vegas.

As a community, we have a common goal: to share our experience and expertise to build strategies and new ideas for dealing with the rough waters ahead.

If you would like to join the New Economy discussion, follow these instructions:

  1. Click here to fill out brief, simple form. It looks just like the one at right.
  2. That’s it. You’re in!

I’ve already posted the first discussion point… go check it out, spread the word and tell me what you think!
